First time staying in an new style exec lodge and have to say how impressed I was. It was spacious, modern and clean. When I say clean it was immaculate.
You go in through the front door using an electronic bracelet (one issued for each bedroom on arrival) and you have the closet and bathroom immediately in front of you. Walk around to the right into the dining area with a family table, easily fitting 6 chairs. To your left is a L shaped sofa in the open plan living room looking out into the patio. Looking back to the kitchen, in typical Center Parcs style is a tv embedded under the counter next to a fire for the winter. The kitchen is modest but well equipped with two fridges. The ice boxes are small but seeing as there’s two it makes up for it.
As you walk for the corridor there is a break off to the right with two twin rooms, or carry on down to find two double rooms. Also In this corridor is a bathroom and separate toilet.
In the patio area are bbq ready for evening cooking.
The park is large and hilly but the lodge is perfectly located at 1 minute 47 second walk from the land train stop. You won’t need to catch the train to the Plaza though as it’s about 1 minute further. If you’re heading to the Sports Plaza, unless you love walking you will want to catch the train or cycle maybe. Trains in the summer run every twenty minutes.
You’re likely to get cat and squirrel visitors in this lodge and if you’re lucky you might see a deer.
